I know I don’t go on about her nearly as much as my beloved grumpy nighlight, but seriously, she’s one of my favorite DA love interests, and her romance is so much fun.

I just… I love her to bits. The woman who played at being a bard, who had a fight on the stairs one night with another scared kid with a knife that changed everything and dedicated her life afterwards to diplomacy and niceness over knives

The sweet little ruffly girly diplomat who believes in nonviolent methods and is willing to risk her life in order to resolve a centuries-old contract on her life peacefully rather than risk people being killed by taking the simplest route and just sneaking in to destroy it

The giggly blushing ambassador who “daringly” bets a whopping 5 coppers as an opening in Wicked Grace and then walks home with the whole pot unless you’re romancing her and she lets you win, because if you think for a second that Josephine fucking Montilyet does not know exactly how to play cards by this point and how to manipulate expectations then you do not know Josephine at all

The experienced player of The Game who takes action to save lives at all costs and who makes sure that no one is mistreating Inquisitors on the basis of their race or ability who is still 100% ready and willing to wreck a marriage with a few words and a pair of gloves if it gets her goal, because do not confuse niceness and a belief in nonviolence with a lack of power or being a doormat

This goddamn adorable bisexual quietly badass woman with her little candle on a clipboard and moles and accent who has an actual Disney princess romance complete with dramatically interrupting a duel and fireside kisses and snuggles who is gentle and soft and kind but not weak, never weak.
